Fulham - Teymourian Looking For Fulham Chance!

After being sent to Barnsley, on loan, our Iranian international Andranik Teymourian has expressed a desire to kick-start his Fulham career again.

The 26 year old, signed form Bolton Wanderers, has expressed a desire to stay at Craven Cottage and has remarked to the media,

'When I joined Barnsley, my aim was getting playing time, since Fulham had obtained excellent results and it was difficult to make it into the first team.'

'I am pleased that I have played in more than ten matches for Barnsley, except in the last one when I had caught a cold."

'My contract (with Fulham) runs out next year and I would like to return to Fulham."

"Meanwhile, the contract allows me a transfer to a different club if I have an offer. I would consider other offers in case I am not included in Fulham's main squad.'

Don`t you just love that last line disclaimer though?

There's a fine line between Prem and Championship quality. You could ask the same question of Gera and Kamara. Teymourian is a decent squad player to have on the team. He's a defensive mid that can also play on the wing. If we pick up Huddlestone, then we'll have two defensive mids, so no real need for Teymourian. If not, then we could use the depth.

I reckon he's had his chance even though it wasn't much of one!

and that last line suggests he's looking elsewhere as well!

He wont get ahead of Etuhu and Murphy. If we qualify for Europe, he will stay. If we dont, he will go.
