Fulham - More complimants for ol' Roy
Having been side-lined from the match yesterday due to a stomach bug I watched the match on 'Match of the Day` and read the Sunday papers.
A few things came to my mind when I saw the way Fulham played yesterday.
We knew Stoke would pile up players for their Delap magic and we have
Hangeland. So ol' Roy knew the best time to score would be to counter attack them from this, and we did, and it ended up giving us the goal and 3 points.
Roy knew that playing Manchester United we must attack them from the start and we did and overpowered them and it ended up giving us the win.
Ol' Roy knew when playing Spurs that they had a dodgy keeper at the beginning of the season that we had to attack them with shots and we did and he blundered and we got another 3 points.
It goes to show what ages can bring into management. I would love to be a fly on the wall watching ol' Roy showing the players what to do to beat teams and the best tactics to use.
