Fulham Face Competition For Barnes

According to the Daily Star, Roy Hodgson is looking at Plymouth striker Ashley Barnes but faces competition from Tony Mowbray to get his signature.

Judging by his goal ratio, I can't honestly see why we are being linked with him unless Roy has seen something in him which he feels he can improve the side.

Will be interesting to see if this rumour develops further, though seeing as it's from the Daily Star, can we really trust it?

Hmmm....I can't say I would be 'pleased' to see him at the Cottage...

Seems to be some sort of running gag for journos to link Fulham with every 19/20 year old striker in the Championship or League One. If they're all true, then we'll have one helluva reserve squad - all strikers and no defenders.

SkySports is reporting we just signed a 16 year old from Walsall - Richard Penekit.
