Fulham - Boro MOTM Result!

It`s perhaps quite fitting that following our recent 0-0 draw up at the Riverside Stadium you voted a Boro old boy as your man of the match!

Derided as past it, by the Boro faithful, Mark Schwarzer turned in the kind of performance that must have had the locals choking on their half time refreshments, as save after save kept Gareth Southgate`s side firmly entrenched in the relegation zone.

In the end, the final result was as follows with Mark Schwarzer (67%) firmly beating off the challenge of Aaron Hughes (18%)

Twas a terrible match, but Schwarzer made the crucial save on Tuncay Sanli, so it seems an appropriate choice.

our finishing was lacking. our passing wasn't that terrible. we just weren't clinical in the box.

It wasn't the worst match I've ever seen, but when we grind out a draw, we grind out a draw.
