After that late, late loss to Liverpool last weekend, Fulham face more north-west opposition this weekend with a trip to Manchester to take on a very rich Manchester City team.
For many the fixture will bring back memories of that fine win last season where Diomansy Kamara inspired a fight back that saw us hit that long road to Premier League survival.
With Manchester City still prospering in the UEFA Cup, courtesy of that place in the 'Fair Play League` they stole from us, the game is on Sunday as is being covered by Sky Sports giving those who have run out of cash the opportunity to watch Fulham live.
For the fixture it`s hard to see Roy Hodgson making many changes to his normal stating eleven. If there are no fresh injuries then we expect Fulham to line up as follows,
Schwarzer, Pantsil, Hughes, Hangeland, Konchesky, Dempsey, Murphy, Etuhu, Davies, Johnson and Zamora.
As for the opposition, Mark Hughes has a wealth of talent to choose from and, despite recent criticism, we expect Robinho to feature heavily. Craig Bellamy is also likely to start although we understand there are doubts about the two ex-Chelsea players, Bridge and Wright-Phillips.
So how do we think the match will go?
Well considering our poor away record compared to City`s good home record the pundits will inevitably be tipping City to take all three points. But we`ll beg to differ. We believe that Fulham can get something from this game and we`re going for at least a point from this difficult fixture.
