Fulham - Aussie Contingent Set to Grow?

Fulham - Aussie Contingent Set to Grow?

The rumour mill is suggesting that Fulham are looking to bring another Aussie to Craven Cottage.

The player in question is Harry Kewell.

Since leaving Liverpool, with a medical record that makes a hypochondriac wince, the Australian has recaptured the form that made him such an exciting player at Leeds.

With Roy, supposedly, on the lookout for a left sided midfielder, the Sunday Mirror is suggesting that Harry could be the man.

Also, with only a year left on his contract he wouldn`t break the bank.

Plus, if he did sign he does bring some lovely eye-candy with him in the form of his ex-Emmerdale actress wife!

Definitely mixed feelings about this one. He was a great player, but I think his time has passed. My general rule is no 30+, injury prone cast-offs from other teams. Still, he would bring experience and add to our midfield depth. I suppose we could do worse.

i'd say if we're competing in europe then maybe. we don't need to add 30+ players with injury problems...

I sat next to his wife at the Leeds vs Club Brugge Champions League game at Elland road back in 2000/01. My god her Emmerdale mate Adele Sliva is fit in the flesh!

He can be a good player when he wants to be, but I don't think he will add much to out squad in the end...
