Fulham Did Fergie a Favour?

Talk about positive spin!

In the tabloids today we gain a glint of a reaction from Sir Alex Ferguson about that 2-0 defeat we inflicted on his side in our last Premier League outing.

Far from reaching for his familiar book of excuses, Fergie has remarked when it comes to some of his younger players letting the side down that day,

"Everybody likes to read good things about themselves."

"We all do its natural. So it can have an affect."

"And there are a lot of young players in our dressing room so maybe it was a good time for us to get that defeat at Fulham in particular. The job is done for me by the Fulham result."

Some weird logic from probably the greatest manager in the history of the Premier League!

if that's how he views it, perhaps we should charge him for services rendered!
