Fulham - Away Form
It seems a long time since we travelled back to The Cottage with 3 points in the bag, following a divine display at The Reebok Stadium.
Of course, this will have filled us with hope that finally, away wins were a plausible feature of our season. But, can we really be that confident?
For the second season straight, it took the majority of the season for the loyal away fans to cheer. I see myself as an optimist, and I feel that now we have done it once, we can do it again, hopefully on a far more frequent basis. However, there is always that lingering doubt, that for the 3rd season in a row, we will fail to win until the latter stages of the season. For a club targeting Europe, surely that is not acceptable?
If we hit a European space this season, clearly, Roy has something to sort out in the away 'department'. I just hope that a few new players and a stronger mentality at the start of next term will mean an away win-less streak will be something of the past.
This is the only thing that keeps us from being one of the best clubs in the league. Lets bridge the gap, and start to enjoy away outings yet again. Come on you Whites!

Europe would be a big mistake. We just haven't got the squad for it. Remember our last foray into the competition? We were nearly relegated because the players were knackered at the end of the season.

That is very true! I for one would be sceptical about Europe, as it could really dent our season. But, it brings a bit of cash, and gives a good 'buzz' around Fulham!

Yep. As long as we are stable next year, I would be more than happy for 2010-11 to be our 'Europe' year! :D
