'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Liverpool Fear Fulham`s Murphy!

After doing his old mates at Liverpool a favour by being a major influence in our home win over Manchester United, Danny Murphy is once again the centre of attention.

It was perhaps inevitable that the Liverpool players, well aware that their title chances are on the line this weekend; would pick their ex-team mate as the potential danger man when it comes to derailing those hopes.

Jamie Carragher (he who can`t be asked to represent his country any longer) has stepped forward to give his spiel on forthcoming events commenting,

'Danny has probably been Fulham's best player this season along with Brede Hangeland at the back.'

'I think with Danny being captain and playing more of a holding role now, he's organising the people around him."

'He's got great experience, so we know it will be difficult, but it's up to us to try and pin him down and stop him playing because I think he makes Fulham tick.'

Come on Danny, now is no time for sentiment; let`s do them just like we did United!

tut tut. What's Carra ever done to you to deserve the dull and out-of-date jibe about his international retirement?

I'm sure he can. He will keep a cool head and put in a top performance, as well as the rest of the lads...
