Fulham - Schwarzer Looking Forward to Liverpool!

We`ve enjoyed a great record against the top-four clubs this season, in the Premier League, especially at Craven Cottage.

This weekend we have the ideal chance to make it even more respectful when Liverpool, who are chasing their first ever Premier League title, arrive in town.

It`s a fixture that is guaranteed to be a sell-out and a fixture that is eagerly awaited by all.

Mark Schwarzer, who had an absolute storming game against Manchester United in that marvelous 2-0 win, is someone who is eager to face Liverpool.

Talking to the official web site, Schwarzer has remarked,

'You want to play well against a team like Liverpool because they're quite rightly regarded as one of the best teams in the world.'

'We have a lot of respect for them, but we want to get one up on them as well."

'There are eight games to go and we've got some very difficult games to come and we'll take each game as it comes but we definitely want to finish in the top half of the table."

'If we can continue our current form over the coming games who knows what will happen.'

Before we start to speculate on that Europa League, shall we take one game at a time please?

Totally agree Woody... Gerrard looked a bit off today for England too so (as much as it pains me to say it) lets hope he picked up a slight nick and is off the pace on saturday too!

We can certainly get the 3 points. Perhaps not in style, or graciously, but 1-0 to the whites!! :D

I'm hoping for a goal fest and as long as we score more than them, that'll do me!
