Fulham - Schwarzer on that Result!

I`ll offer no apologies for milking this one to death!

After all it`s been 45 years since we last triumphed against Manchester United at Craven Cottage.

Hopefully, it will not be another forty-five before the feat is repeated.

Using some more of the marvellous quotes that keep popping up from our heroes of Saturday, we`ll try and keep basking in the glory.

Today, we`ll offer a lovely paragraph from mark Schwarzer, (goalkeeper of the moment) that adequately sums up exactly what playing United is like,

"Everyone`s expecting nothing when you play United and that`s the beauty of these games."

"When you play for Manchester United, it`s difficult because week in week out, whoever your opponent is it`s always a massive scalp for them. If you can get a scalp of Manchester United`s calibre you are on a winner. Everyone`s looking out for it. That`s why they are one of the best teams in the world, if not the best. So it`s a fantastic result for us."

Fantastic, my recording of the game has almost worn out already I`ve played it so many times.

to be honest though, nothing can top the excitement and thrills of last year. yes it was hard on us, and quite depressing, but the final result was absolutely fantastic!! :D
