Fulham after Blackburn Star?

The opening of the transfer window may still be a fair way off but still the suggestions relating to potential targets grab valuable column inches n the tabloids.

The latest to feature as a potential Fulham target is the Blackburn midfield player Aaron Mokoena.

According to the News of the World, the South African skipper, now thirty-one, wants regular first team football and is looking for a summer move.

Now, whilst not doubting his credentials I still have to ask a pertinent question!

If Mokoena can`t get into a Blackburn side struggling in the relegation zone how would he fit into an upwardly mobile team like ours?

You failed to mention the most important thing about this article in the NOTW, the fact that they said that Hangeland moving in the summer is a certainty.......

Hangeland moving on or not, Mokoena is not a replacement, and as far as defensive midfielders are concerned Etuhu is doing fine. I don't see how Mokoena could improve us. If you're concerned about Hangeland moving on, go after Samba not Mokoena.

Go for Huddlestone if we need another midfielder, what we really need is another striker to put away some more of the chances we create. I think if we make Europe or get very close Roy will persuade Brede to stay. At least I hope he does!!!!!

i am a positive person, so my view may be slightly askew, but i think he will stay. mo and roy obviously recognise his importance, and brede is a loyal guy, not only to Fulham but to Roy himself. Plus, I don't think there will be many, if any, 'bigger' clubs that would interest him, as they cannot offer him 1st team football. I think he is ours for a while yet....
