Fulham - Blades Defender Targeted!

Fulham - Blades Defender Targeted!

Even though the re-opening of the transfer window is some months away the tabloids continue to speculate about the possible transfer merry-go-round this summer.

According to the Daily Mirror, several Premier League clubs, us included, are tracking the young Sheffield United player, Kyle Naughton.

It`s being implicated that the young defender could be leaving the Yorkshire club for a fee somewhere in the region of £4 million.

Other clubs, most notably Manchester City and Tottenham, are mentioned as also being interested so I shouldn`t have too high a hope of the lad joining.

As we all know, competition when it comes to football transfers, forces the price up, not down!

Sheffield United stand a pretty good chance of coming up next season. If that happens, I can't see them selling Naughton. We still need to focus on Reginiussen.
