Fulham - It`s A Size Thing!

As the dust settles on the defeat last night, are we reaping the (bad) results for having a limited squad, size-wise?

With more out than in during January there was always the possibility that resource levels would be stretched.

Roy`s penchant for selecting more or less the same starting eleven may have lulled him into a false sense of security.

Perhaps those over0sed eleven are now starting to feel the effects of a hard season and the effects of too many games in a short space of time.

Speaking about the problem, Roy has commented,

"We have a small squad and we lost a couple recently to injury, which hasn`t helped."

"The always knew we were going to be stretched if any injuries came along. We knew that the tiredness and fatigue was going to be a problem for us. I hope that next season the squad will be bigger and stronger."

Unless off course we suffer the ultimate disaster that of relegation, then things could just as easily go from bad to worse!
