Fulham Humble Spurs!

Our reserves pulled off a great result on Monday evening when they beat a Spurs side 3-0, on their patch.

More impressive was the fact that the Spurs side continued several players who had first team experience in the shape of Gunter, Bale, Rocha, Dos Santos, O`Hara, Campbell and Taarabt.

Fulham were leading 2-0 at half time courtesy of goals from Wayne Brown and Giles Barnes and went on to add a third in second half stoppage time through Matthew Briggs.

So, congratulations go to the boss Billy McKinlay and those that participated Wesley Fordingham, Fredrik Stoor, Toni Kallio, Adam Watts, Chris Smalling, Matthew Saunders, Zoltan Gera, Wayne Brown, Giles Barnes, Julian Gray, Matthew Briggs, Keanu Marsh-Brown and Courtney Harris.

And any one who points out we had as many playing with first team experience as they did - ssshhh!

if the reserves hadn't started off so badly...they could be running away with that league the way they are going now!!

I think that as soon as we get the 40 points on the board it would be worth Roy fielding one or two of these young talents - its first team experience they need. On the other hand though the higher we finish the more potential money we will have to spend in the summer and foreign players will take us more seriously so it is a toss up.

i think barnes is just getting his legs. looks like he'll earn some playing time once he's fit.

yeah i second that woody, i think hodgson can clearly see the potential and class that barnes has, but it will just be a matter of time before he gets the call up.
