Fulham - Hangeland New Contract Talk

Fulham - Hangeland New Contract Talk

Yesterday the Evening Standard were reporting that Fulham are shortly to open negotiations with Brede Hangeland about an improved contract.

Not before time I hear you all cry!

Brede has been a defensive rock this season and yet again his name has been linked with a move to another club.

This time, according to a leading tabloid this morning, Newcastle are keen to make a £7 million offer to sign the giant Norwegian.

Here at Vital Fulham we`d urge Roy and the board to get Brede to sign on that dotted line because without him we`d be a much poorer team.

Encouraging news, but even if they sign him to a new deal, it doesn't mean that a bigger club won't swoop in during the summer. Still concerned.

very negative al billy!!! :D:D i think that if hangeland signs a new deal, he will feel moraly obliged to stay until at least 2010, but if he doesn't, then i agree. but, to me, he doesn't seem like the disloyal type.

LOCK HIM UP! besides, if he went to newcastle, he'd just become a poor centerback anyway... they're defensive record is offensive...
