Fulham - Stoor to Move On!

I guess one of the disappointments this season has been the failure of Fredrik Stoor to make a dramatic impression at Craven Cottage.

Through no fault of his own, the Swedish international has had to sit and watch, from the sidelines, whilst John Pantsil has made that right back slot his own.

The situation has, according to an interview he gave with Fotbollskanalen forced him to reconsider his future with the Swede remarking,

"I have to keep my eyes open for other solutions.'

'I need more games in order to grow, but at the same time I don't want to give up and state that I can't make it here. Because I believe I can."

'I haven't thought about it that much. I haven't spoken to the club about it but, since I am not playing, I'll keep my eyes open for offers.'

Surely it`s too early to throw the towel in isn`t it?

i think he is still young enough to have a future here, but he has far from proven it yet, from, as you say, no fault of his own.

I think I read an article in the fulham magazine that Stoor is the fastest of all our squad, quicker than AJ! I was expecting him to be first choice right back, but Pantsil has done a solid job this season.

that's does surprise me as well, he's been beaten a number of times, by dyer of swansea and clichy of arsenal... a loan could do him well though. let him get back into the sweden international squad. i do like him as cover better than baird though.

He's 25, so I can appreciate the fact that he wants first-team football, but he's barely been at Fulham for half a season. I think a little patience is in order.

at the start of the season I was certain he'd be the one to make that right back spot his own!

Well personaly i don't rate him from what i've seen and i like what i see in Paintsil. Paintsil puts alot of effort in , but I agree with you all that he is young, quick and a loan spell could do him alot of good, hopefuly he gets some first team football!
