Fulham - Laid Back Brede?

Our defensive resilience, especially away from home, continues to enhance the reputation of our Norwegian centre half, Brede Hangeland.

Back in the days when the transfer window was open it was widely expected that Brede would be targeted by one of the bigger Premier League clubs, thankfully it didn`t happen though and the Norwegian has spoken out about that time commenting,

"I wasn`t losing any sleep."

Well we were Brede, we were terrified you`d be snapped up!

it would be very sad and bad for the club if he went. we would not be able to keep up this sort of form next season without him...he is a rock!!

I'd be shocked if we managed to hang onto him this summer. If ManCity is willing to pay 10m for Wayne Bridge, surely Brede is worth more. Considering we only payed 2.5m, an offer in the neighborhood of 10m would be tough to turn down. If it comes to that, I trust Roy to find a suitable replacement.

I sat in the Arsenal end at the weekend and I heard four or five people describing him as 'pure class'. They weren't wrong. On a couple of occasions he won the ball and brought it out of defense like Rio Ferdinand or Sol Campbell (when he was at his best). He's got everything in his locker and at times looks like the complete defender. If Bridge is worth what Man Sheiky paid, Brede's worth double.

I pray he'll stay! If we lost him it would be a catastrophe!
