Mowbray Admits Fulham Deserved to Win!

Mowbray Admits Fulham Deserved to Win!

Before the kick-off today I ran an article that showed Tony Mowbray holding Fulham up as a possible role model.

It showed a remarkable insight into how some managers think about their situation.

After the game, Mowbray was just as honest and just as frank in his assessment of the game when he remarked,

'They thoroughly deserved to win.'

'We rode our luck right from the start. We were better second half but lost goals through poor defending.'

I`m beginning to warm to this guy and I sincerely hope he can get enough points to keep his side in the division!

it's nice to see a losing manager speak with class after a match, and not bemoan the officials or anything else...
