Fulham - Off Course We Tried!

Fulham - Off Course We Tried!

It`s interesting to see that some pundits are accusing us of taking it easy at Old Trafford on Wednesday evening.

The implication is there that Roy Hodgson accepted our fate that night and selected his team accordingly (not from us I might add).

Thankfully, Aaron Hughes has come out and said his piece remarking,

"We went there with the intention of doing well and to try to get something from the game. I was disappointed we didn`t play well as we could but it was nothing to do with lack of ambition."

"I`ve been to Old Trafford and been on the end of much worse results. I had a 5-1 at Newcastle once and we were doing well at the time."

"Against Manchester United you are playing not just the European Champions but the world champions."

We know Aaron, it`s just vicious gossip!
