Fulham - Midfield Poser?

Dickson Etuhu missed the midweek trip to Old Trafford due to an ankle injury he sustained.

Early reports suggest that Dickson, who has stepped into the hole vacated by Jimmy Bullard, will miss the fixture against West Bromwich Albion as the injury hasn`t healed sufficiently.

This gives Roy Hodgson something of a quandary.

Does he go with Olivier Dacourt, who is struggling for full match fitness or does he persist with the same defensive minded formation that started at Old Trafford.

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

I hope he goes for Dacourt. Just don't want the defensive minded squad.

I honestly don't think he'll go that defensive at home. So dacourt me thinks

i hope dacourt. hell, you could even throw gera and davies out wide, and dempsey attacking midfield with murphy holding a bit more. to me that sounds better than putting baird in front of the back 4.

I'd consider Dacourt a defensive choice, whereas Gera would be an attacking choice. But, Dacourt is what I'd go with. We need a defensive presense in front of the back four. West Brom are at the bottom of the table with not much time left, so you know they'll be aggressive. They need wins. Of course, they can't defend, so AJ/BZ or AJ/EN up top should produce results, hopefully early.
