After being outplayed but thankfully not humiliated by the reigning champions of England, Europe and the World Roy Hodgson took his customary place in front of the cameras for his post match interview.
Roy used the opportunity to; quite rightly, berate the fixture schedule, a schedule that sees our resources stretched, depleted and left a little bedraggled.
Here are the finer points of what Roy had to say,
"It bothers me why we have to play on Sunday and again the following Tuesday.'
'Our chances of getting through against Swansea have been severely hampered. That turnaround has given our opponents a big advantage."
'I cannot say I am particularly delighted about the situation at all."
'We will have to concentrate on West Brom and then do our best against Swansea. But I wouldn't be putting too much money on the result.'
Are we beginning to regret still being in the FA Cup, I hope not Roy!
