Martinez - A Future Fulham Manager?

The manner in which Swansea went about their task of unsettling us yesterday was indicative of how the Welsh side have performed this season.

Under the stewardship of Roberto Martinez they`ve developed a reputation for playing silky, attractive football.

You couldn`t help but notice how Nathan Dyer and Mark Gower were positioned right out wide to stretch our defence, it`s a ploy Roy Hodgson knows he`ll have to counter in the replay.

Indeed, Martinez is fast becoming a highly respected coach and it`ll not be long before he moves onto bigger an better things, therefore, on this lazy Sunday morning, I`d like to pose a question,

If Roy were to move on in a couple of years time, would Roberto Martinez be the kind of coach you`d like to see at Craven Cottage?

Ermmm, not sure really. I think it may be a bit risky at the highest tier.

Experience is over-rated. Look at what Zola has brought to West Ham. We won't have Roy forever. I think he'll eventually move back into international coaching. We need to keep tabs on up-and-coming managers.

he'd get my vote, he's working wonders at Barca, sorry Swansea!
Al Billy
he had them play attractive football... in two years time he might really have something going, why not keep an eye on him?
