'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - Hodgson on Swansea!

The magic of the FA Cup returns this weekend and we face a difficult trip to South Wales to take on a vibrant Swansea side.

It should be remembered that Swansea, under Roberto Martinez, have already knocked out the current holders, Portsmouth, on their own patch.

Roy Hodgson, as the build up to the tie gathers momentum, has spoken out about the opposition and the difficulty the trip presents explaining,

'We're playing a very much in-form team on Saturday,'

'They're a team that's done very well and they deservedly won their last away game against a Premier League team, Portsmouth."

'They've done ever so well since then and are just outside the play-off places in the Championship so we know it's going to be a tough game and we have great respect for the opposition."

'We're aware of the task ahead of us and we'll do the only thing in our power to do, which is to work hard and play well. "

'We'll give it our best shot as we want to stay in this competition.'

Stay in it Roy, we`d like to win it!

I know two things about Swansea: their football club is playing great of late and Catherine Zeta-Jones was born there. Must be a magical place. Seriously, though, I hope we win, but frankly I'd rather see us lose than have to go through a replay. The focus still has to be on our league form. So, win big or lose big, but no 0-0 draw.

well if they're anything like catherine zeta-jones, they have loads of talent and are an extremely attractive club, but they sell themselves REALLY short by marrying michael douglas... i mean, ending they're cup run this saturday... (ps. i'm stoked that this game's on tv for us stateside.)
