Fulham Sign Dutch Sensation!

Although the transfer window may be closed, prohibiting any dealing that may result in a change to your first team squad, it appears that Fulham, thankfully, are still being very proactive behind the scenes.

Reports are coming in that a deal has been done with the Dutch side, Fortuna Sittard, to bring their eighteen sensation, Danny Hoesen to Craven Cottage on a permanent basis, thereby ending, we believe, the loan spell that started at the beginning of the season.

I hope this is a trend, not only for Fulham, but for the whole of the EPL. Re-focus on the youth programs and develop in-house talent. I realize everyone has to buy veterans to stay in the top-flight or compete in Europe, sometimes, but it already looks like the economics of the EPL will change soon, and I think you'll see the teams that have abandoned their youth programs pay the price.
