Hodgson - Progress is 30 and not 16?

There`s no denying that Roy Hodgson has been responsible for turning things around at Craven Cottage.

Our away form may be bordering on the embarrassing but our home form continues to lift us to lofty heights.

It is something that Roy Hodgson, in his obligatory post match interview at the JJB Stadium picked up on when he remarked,

"I would be very concerned about our scoring record away from home if we were in the relegation zone, but when you`re standing here with 30 points it`s far less of a worry."

"Like Wigan, we`re in a much better position than this time last season, but neither Steve nor I will be relaxing just yet."

"This time last year I was just celebrating my first point against Bolton - and that was in my sixth game in charge. It wasn`t the most auspicious start to my Fulham career."

"That point took us to 16 for the season to have 30 points at this stage is a hell of a lot different."

It certainly is and I for one will be breathing a huge sigh of relief when that mythical 40 point mark is passed.

We have West Brom, Hull, Blackburn and Stoke at home; Bolton, Boro and Newcastle on the road. I'm confident we can bag at least 4 wins from those fixtures. If we keep up our home form and at least keep up our 0-0 away results, I think we can get to 40 points by the end of March.

Roy has done well .......

indeed roy has... not only are we better off in the table, but it a lot more pleasant to watch than sanchez's long ball game... it was quite an astute signing to bring roy onboard, and he seems to really be enjoying himself.
