Wigan Travel Directions
Anyone contemplating taking the high road out of London and through the snow to Wigan tomorrow might be appreciative of the following travel directions.
If you are travelling by road, use the following route,
Southbound - Leave the M6 at Junction 26 and join the A577 towards Wigan. Follow the A577 until it meets the A49 and join this road heading towards Wigan. Almost immediately turn left at the roundabout into Robin Park Road. Take the next right into Loire Drive and the JJB is on the right.
Northbound - Leave the M6 at Junction 25 and join the A49 towards Wigan. Follow the A49 towards the centre of Wigan and shortly after passing under the railway line turn left at the roundabout into Robin Park Road. Take the next right into Loire Drive and the JJB Stadium is on the right.
By Rail- There are two stations, Wigan Wallgate Station and Wigan North Western Station, both in the town centre about a twenty minute walk to the ground.
