Fulham - Not Impressed by Roy?

Fulham - Not Impressed by Roy?

With the transfer window shut, we took the opportunity, here at Vital Fulham, to ask for your opinion on how you thought Roy Hodgson had done in the transfer window.

With Giles Barnes, Olivier Dacourt and Julian Gray being involved insome sort of in-coming deals and Leon Andreasen and Adranik Teymorian leaving we pondered whether you were happy with Roy`s dealings.

Strangely enough, despite the manner in which he`s turned the club around since the dark days of Lawrie Sanchez, the vibes were not good.

Of the four option provided 53% thought he`d done 'okayish' whilst a further 40% thought the 'no' option was the most suitable for their opinions.

Amazingly, only 4% thought Roy had done well in the transfer window whilst the remaining 3% opted for the wildcard - 'what transfer window'.

It looks like we`re a hard lot to please!

I hate this transfer window. It should either be as it was; buy all year round, or buy between end of season and end of Oct. That said I think Roy did the right thing in not panic buying and keeping the squad largly as is. Continuity is important.

do away with it make it like it used to be when you could buy anytime!

i don't mind the trasnfer window. i said he did okayish because we held onto hangeland, but we couldn't hold onto bullard. we got some replacements for bullard, but we'll see if they mesure up... 3 midfielders out and 2 in doesn't quite add up...

I think there is more to the Bull**** saga than meets the eye. I get the feeling that Roy was never a big fan of Jimmy Bull****, didn't tow the company line as it were, hoefully Barnes with guidence from Roy will turn out to be a good signing. It would have been nice to see Delph in a Fulham shirt but as Roy said if it had looked like we might get him one of the big four would have stepped in with a bigger offer.
