Fulham - You Say Stick With Johnson and Zamora!

The two goal salvo by Erik Nevland last Saturday, in the 3-1 defeat of Portsmouth, could pose Roy Hodgson a problem.

With the form of Bobby Zamora having faltered in recent weeks, Roy may well be contemplating making a change in his forward line as we approach a very important fixture with Wigan Athletic this Saturday.

Here at Vital Fulham we`ve pre-empted Roy`s possible dilemma and our last poll was set to gauge your opinion regarding who you believe should start.

We provided four options and the voting finished as follows:

Johnson and Zamora - 49%

Johnson and Nevland - 44%

Nevland, Johnson and Zamora - 5%

Nevland and Zamora - 2%

All in all a very close run thing between the top two options.

I wonder if things will change if Erik 'The Viking` Nevland were to come on again this Saturday and notch a goal or two.

Interesting!

I was one of the, it seems, very few who opted for all 3. We haven't won away from home in the EPL yet, and I think that is partially through our lack of risk taking. I feel that this is a big risk, but away from home at wigan, i feel is a good time to take a risk and get some goals.

I agree. We're putting too much pressure on our home form. Realistically, there are only a few opportunities for away wins for the remainder of the season, and this is one of them. If we're up at half, pull Nevland or Zamora, and give DaCourt a runout and try to protect the lead.
Samboney
play all three and put them on the back foot!

but if we play 3 up front, what 3 do we play in the midfield?

Our defense has done well all season. Let's get aggressive away from home and try to knock in some goals. AJ, Zamora, Nevland and Davies, Murphy, Dempsey across thie midfield. Usual 4 at the back.

i chose jono and nevland, but after readin ur comments bout playin all three has changed my mind,,bobby will only get his confidence back on the pitch not the bench, our defence can handle playin all 3,havin the same line up makes ya 2 predictable, and hasent got us very far on the road, acrossthepond got the lineup rite,we got nothin to lose, coyw!!!
