'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - Dacourt on Life at the San Siro?

He`s not even through the dressing room door at Craven Cottage yet but already Olivier Dacourt has given an indication of the frustration he suffered at the San Siro.

Dacourt never really got a look in under Jose Mourinho and he`s keen to get his career back on track, even if his stay at Fulham is only until the end of the season.

Speaking about his times of turmoil, he had this to say,

'I worked really hard during training and Mourinho's training methods are excellent.'

'It's a shame he never gave me a chance to play, even though I was told I would get one."

'I always gave 100 per cent, but I was never taken into consideration for the first team."

'I never argued with Mourinho, but evidently we had different ideas. That's the way things go."

'I would probably have had more chances under Roberto Mancini because he knew me very well."

'It's hard to leave Inter because I loved it there and I want to thank the Moratti family for the two great seasons when I won Scudetti.'

From the San Siro to Craven Cottage, I think the lad is in for something of a culture shock, don`t you?
