Fulham - Confident of Delph Deal?

Rumours that Fabien Delph will become a Fulham player before the transfer window closes continue to thrive.

In fact it would appear that Fulham are intent on pushing through a loan deal with the fee to be agreed at a later date, a fee that will include numerous add-ons related to the number of appearances the young lad makes and his progression on the international front.

If Fulham can pull this one it`ll be a remarkable deal, especially when you acknowledge that the Leeds United chairman, Ken Bates, isn`t normally a person who`d you associate with giving anyone something for nothing which is what many would perceive as a loan spell.

We`ll endeavour to keep you posted.

Like putney says - can't see Bates agreeing, he's a shrewd cookie!

According to sky sports hodgson has denied any approach for delph?? but that is hopefully just a cover up....would be a rather brilliant acquisitiion if we get him!!

Just Pay up, Phil Brown's money will go to Bates and we will have a player!
Backslash2010
Commentator said we've already put a bid in for him.

What a great player this kid is .. if you snap him up you should be well chuffed..

lets hope the rumours are right and he will be ours tomorrow, should be excellent replacement for that turncoat bullard
dan the man
i get the feeling tomorrow could be interesting!
Al Billy
from a Bradford City point of view I hope you don't just loan him and pay later. Reportedly we own his leg (a sizeable % of the sell on fee was agreed when he left Valley Parade as a kid). Rumour has it that if you paid £5m we'd see £1m of that...No wonder Bates is holder out for a larger offer if he has to give us a fifth!

Would be great to see but I thnk it's just paper talk
