Bullards' Replacement - You Choose?

Who do you want to see fill Jimmy Bullard`s boots?

So far the 'Daily Grapevine` has done its best to pick up on the many names being suggested by the tabloids.

We`ve had James Harper (Reading), Lee Williamson (Watford) and Joe Ledley (Cardiff) amongst others.

However, some of you feel that Roy Hodgson needs to cast his net a little further and Vital Fulham member, JSLee, has suggested that we make an attempt to persuade a player he believes is the player at the heart of the team beaten by Manchester United in the recent World Club Championship, namely Damian Manso of Liga de Quinto.

Do you feel the same or have you got somebody else you`d prefer to see in the white of Fulham?

I'd like to see Roy bring in another Norwegian or European player. Someone to steady the midfield up because there is just a huge panic going on there without Bullard

please roy just get someone realy good, with a good reputation aswell. but please soon get someone to rplace the awful dickson ethuhu, who in my eyes is not a jimmy bullard type of player

I know manso quite well as a player, (not a persnoal friend obviously) dont know how tho??? he wudnt be bad actually, but i just dont think he would cut it. i completely agree with FUL4EVA....someone with a good reputation please roy, and a lil bit of flair wudnt go a miss.

I reckon we'll wait until the summer, just got this feeling!
Al Billy
Have to say I think Al Billy has a point. We still have Andranik in the squad, albeit unfit at the moment. I am sure he was got in a back up for Jimmy so I am sure Roy will want to see what he has to offer before spending too much on replacement. Heard he was good recently in a reserve game. That said if we could get Fabien Delph we should. A friend of mine watched him play recently and was supposed to be top class. Not sure if would come to us though. Also would like us to try and get Dos Santos on loan for the rest of the season. Lets hope Roy can pull some strings in the next few days. COYW

I just don't get, why Hodgson isn't using his Italian connection! Internazional has a huge talent mass and there must be a couple of decent players among them, who will benefit from a loan move. I'm tired of us being linked with average Championship players like James Harper (£7 mil..(!) Jesus!)... We need some flair dammit! And lets recall Seol to replace Zamora:D I'm not his biggest fan but he can't do any worse and he had a decent start to the season with a couple of assists and a goal!

For my money, the obvious choice is Stephen Hunt. It's not a straight positional swap, as Hunt is more of a winger, but he's the same type of player as Bullard - hard working, never give up. Lots of assists and some goals this season, albeit in Championship, but he's had recent success in the EPL, so I don't think its much of a risk. According to reports I've read, he can get out of his contract at Reading for 5 mil. I don't know that we could persuade him to move, though. Reading looks like their coming back to EPL next season, he's playing with his brother at Reading, and he seems to be loyal to Coppell (Palace, Brentford, now Reading). Hell, take the Bullard fee, package it with Zamora and try to get both the Hunt brothers. No chance Reading would go for that, I'm afraid.

after seeing the news that derbyshire's going to greece, i would have loved to see him in our squad on a loan deal. he's got a nose for the net. but alas, it's too late. i think dos santos might make sense for a loan. but we need a midfielder with som legs beneath him, because i watched both danny and dickson stand around during that match at sunderland, and we need one of them to run around a bit and create.
