'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - Dickson Etuhu Speaks!

On the eve of our Premier League visit to the 'Stadium of Light` to face Sunderland Dickson Etuhu appears to have emerged as the spokesperson in the Fulham camp.

Seeing as Etuhu used to wear the red and white stripes of the `Black Cats` it`s probably an apt choice.

The first subject Etuhu is quoted as remarking on is perhaps an obvious choice, namely the departure of Jimmy Bullard with Dickson remarking,

"Jimmy`s a good player and off course it`s a blow. But we must compete as a team to move on."

"Everyone is focused. With or without Jimmy the team will have to carry on. We`ve got good players."

Nothing too controversial there, just stating the blatantly obvious in our opinion. But Etuhu does move on to make a startling revelation, remarking,

"Everyone thinks the UEFA Cup is a possibility. With the way we`re playing we are capable of achieving something big."

Now let`s not get too carried away, in our last two games our defence has shipped five goals after looking so assured in the raft of games before that, we`ve also yet to see how we`ll cope without the `Bullard Factor` so one step at a time please Dickson!

Good to see some optimism within the team though. a couple of good signings and a return to good form and he could be onto something!

With the size/quality of our squad, the last thing we need is a eufa cup place, Remember Ipswich?.

After listening to the commentary from 'Gentleman Jim McGullion' on the Fulham website I can say without fear of contradiction that we are in no danger of finishing that high. It sounded like the same old same old from Fulham away. Are we going to leave it till April to win away? Pass the the Prozac :(
