Murphy on the Bullard Move!

The fallout from the Jimmy Bullard transfer continues to grace the tabloids.

His midfield partner at Craven Cottage, Danny Murphy, has cheekily suggested that Jimmy has put his Premier League status in doubt by moving to Hull. Obviously, like us, Danny has worked out that despite their great start their form in the latter part of this season ahs been patchy, to say the least.

Talking about it to the media, Danny had this to say when asked about Hull being in a possible relegation fight,,

"I think he has taken a risk but that is his decision."

"I don`t know the conversation he had with Phil Brown and how ambitions they are. They`ve had a wonderful first season and they might continue but I agree - it`s a risk."

But, Murphy, much travelled himself during his career, did appreciate why Jimmy had made the move, remarking,

"The simple fact is that security for him and his family was there and he decided to take the opportunity."

"I can`t criticise him for that. He is a wonderful lad and no-one can doubt that he gave his heart and soul in every game he played for Fulham."

I`ll second the final statement but the bitter taste is still there!

His midfield partner at Craven Cottage, Danny Murphy, has cheekily suggested that Jimmy has put his Premier League status in doubt by moving to Hull... Err NO DANNY!! NOW BULLARD HAS LEFT ITS FULHAMS PL STATUS THATS A DOUBT!!! ha ha ha
Pete-the-Tractor
ha unlucky. was that your only england player??
MFFP
The facts are...if bullard wanted premier league football....he'd be a hell of a lot better off with us!! If he wants money, then yeah, hull seem to be very prepared to offer him it. 30 year old, no caps....40k a week and a 5mil price tag!!! If, Hull, this is your 'big' signing that shows your intentions, then your intentions aren't very high!! Good bit of business by roy and mohammed me thinks :D

dont quote me on this but people like KBCC and Al-billy where saying a while ago that Bully isnt as good as what we talk him up to being, his legs will go soon and thats all hes got, Hes a decent player but not our best - Take Hangeland from me and then i cry because he is pure class
fulham7
So we have lost our Englnad midfielder, and by england midfielder i mean someone who has less caps than Danny Murphy!

time will certainly tell on this transfer. does anyone care anymore that boa morte was sold like 2 years ago? we got rid of him right before he stopped being useful (maybe a little bit after, but we still got 5 mil for him) and i couldn't be happier now. i think jimmy will still contribute at hull, but we'll see if he last the 4+ years.

i agree with fulham7....if we lose hangeland then we will freefall down the league. But now bullard gone...there could be a temporary blip...but he is easy to replace (maybe not his personality tho).
