Fulham - Bullard Blasts Back!

The ink is barely dry on his contract but already the chat between those adjacent to the Humber and those adjacent to the Thames is intensifying.

After Roy Hodgson explained the case for Fulham selling Bullard on Friday, the man himself has gone into print today to give his side of the story remarking, in the Sunday Mirror,

"What has been said has upset me. I have read all about what I was supposed to be demanding from them and I find that mind-boggling because we never got around to talking figures."

"I feel people at Fulham have given a false impression about the situation. I spoke to them about a new deal several times and they said they were not willing to offer me new terms and that I could go in January."

"I am a bit surprised because I feel I have done well for them. But after Fulham told me there was no new deal on the table, they left me no option but to leave."

Oh dear!

Agreed, it's all a little suspect to be honest. Uncle Roy is leading the truth table for me though

No option but to leave? Get your head out of your hairy a***! 18 months left on a contract and you say that? really gone down in my opinion jim
Backslash2010
I guess Hull offered more in wages than Bolton then!
Al Billy
He got a £45k 4.5 year contract at Hull. I really don't know how he can claim that he was forced to leave when he had 18 months left to run
