Fulham Youngster Goes on Loan!

Fulham Youngster Goes on Loan!

One of our promising youngsters has been loaned out to Ashford Town to enable him to get a bit of regular first team experience.

Ashley Thompson, a Fulham Academy prospect, joined just before Ashfords`s game against Staines last night and is expected to fill a central defensive role for their next game.

Speaking about the acquisition, the Ashford manager seemed very complimentary about the training the nineteen year old Thompson would have had standing him in good stead, remarking,

'We don't know too much about Ashley.'

'But he comes highly recommended. And remembering he comes from a Premiership club with all the right training and pedigree behind him - we hope he will bring some of that with him.'

Here at Vital Fulham we hope the young man enjoys his spell at Ashford.
