Hangeland - Your Shining Light!

It was a difficult decision to stick a poll up asking you to vote for your man of the match after the recent defeat at Upton Park.

Spirits were low and the realization that our downfall was down to our own mistakes made it a harder cross to bear.

But, amongst the carnage of the 3-1 defeat there was the odd shining light to warm the cockles of our hearts, so it was decided to run the poll as usual.

Once again, we had a clear winner and it`s a man who has won more than his fair share of man of the match awards this season.

Brede Hangeland polled 46% of the vote to deservedly, in my opinion, take the honour.

Not too closely behind him were Clint Dempsey and Danny Murphy who both polled 17% of the vote.

Thanks for your continued support.

I'm prepared to suggest that without Brede we'd be back in the relegation fight before long! He's immense!
