Fulham - Two Johnson's?

With the future of Jimmy Bullard still subject to speculation, rumours are linking us with a youngster who appears to have lost his way recently.

The 'Daily Grapevine` has insisted that we have an interest in securing the services of Michael Johnson, the talented Manchester City U21 international.

The leading rumour monger, the News of the World, leads those heralding our interest in a player who was recently rated in the £10 million bracket before a catalogue of injuries halted his promising progress.

So what`s the consensus, good buy, bad buy or just a dodgy rumour?

Don't think this one had any legs, Johnson is an up and coming star and City would want a few bob for him should they go down that path, but Fulham would have cometition for his signature as Everton and liverpool were also interested for the lad, I really dont think City will sell.

You are not having him, end of. When he gets back from injury he will be an important part of our team, and since he is an academy graduate we will keep hold of him. Feel welcome to have Gelson Fernandes or Darius Vassell. You can have them for free.
