Fulham - Roy`s Bullard & Hangeland Fears!

We`re almost halfway through the transfer window and so far there have been no serious bids for either Brede Hangeland or Jimmy Bullard.

However, the suggestion continues to be made that Arsenal are the most likely candidates to make a serious move with Arsene Wenger keen to shore up his defence and also add a little experience to his midfield.

Speaking about the situation, Fulham boss, Roy Hodgson, has highlighted the dilemma facing him by remarking,

"You always worry that bigger clubs are out there. We have to deal with it."

"It would take something special for these players to move and I hope that something special doesn`t happen."

"It would be naïve to think we won`t get any offers for Jimmy just because he is injured at the moment."

"Just look at Blackburn`s Roque Santa Cruz, he`s been injured yet he is still being linked with a move."

"Is Jimmy under the radar as he`s not playing? That`s not a bad thing but I`d prefer he was as he`s one of our best players."

Our major fear is that, as the deadline approaches, somebody makes a late successful bid and snares both Bullard and Hangeland leaving us no time to recruit suitable replacements.

I guess that is something the very astute Roy Hodgson will be aware of though.

oh balls, only came because I thought the headline was about me.
The Fear
Take Bully and run Wenger but leave Brede alone
Backslash2010
I'll be controversial and say we can cope without Jimmy, but without Hangeland we would be in big trouble!

Not going to happen now, Bullards injured and no movement in the market.
