Fulham - Bullard Chase On?

In our continuing look at possible destinations for our influential midfield player, Jimmy Bullard, we have two more snippets of information.

Two leading Sunday tabloids are giving differing opinions as to where they are reporting interest from.

The Sunday People are running an article that suggests Middlesbrough are interested and at one stage offered Fulham a straight swap offering Gary O`Neill for our Jimbo!

Surely they jest?

Also, the Sunday Mirror carries a little snippet that suggests that Arsene Wenger will be signing both Bullard and Jack Collinson (of West Ham) to strengthen his midfield.

Here at Vital Fulham we can`t believe Jimmy would even entertain the possibility of moving to the industrialised chemical city that is Middlesbrough.

And as for Arsenal, despite all Jimmy`s qualities, we can`t see him in an Arsenal shirt, can you?

Boro wouldn't be my idea of a good move for Jim. North London might be attractive to him, but does Wenger rate anyone born here? Seems an unlikely destination.

I don't think he'll leave for either to be honest. Middlesbrough can't offer him much more then we can, with both money and football, and as you said, I really can't see Bullard putting on an Arsenal shirt.
KBCC
he'd just be a bit part player at Arsenal!
Al Billy
Exactly. I'm pretty sure Bullard would rather be playing football every week rather then watching it, and earning mega-bucks. Luckily, he's one of those traditional players, who I don't think would move purely for money.
KBCC
Hmm maby a move to arsenal is a bit too much, but Borro? are the avvin a laugh?
Backslash2010
I'm pretty sure that the delay to Bullards new contract is a ploy to make him get his feet firmly on the ground and work at improving his game which I thought had sideways a bit. At the end of the month he'll still be with us and negotiations will start on a new contract.
Edens
Hmmm! a word missing from above "had gone sideways a bit" it should read.
Edens
