Kettering - Persistent Lot or What?

Kettering - Persistent Lot or What?

The FA Cup tie against Kettering continues to generate interest.

Yesterday we rather rudely mocked their claims about the fixture not being granted live television coverage.

Today we discover that Kettering are trying to manipulate the television companies to how the game live but forfeit the normal £160,000 television fee.

On the surface it appears a noble move until you think about the logic of it.

If they succeed the tie will, invariably, be moved away from it`s current weekend date thereby inconveniencing all the away supporters who have to make their way up to this countryside ground.

Personally, I`m against it but I`ll be interested to gauge your reaction in our new poll.

And talking of the tie, it transpires that Fulham supporters will be entered into ballot for the 1250 tickets 'The Poppies` have graced us with.

So it`s all down to the luck of the draw then!

I hope it gets changed as have a 6-a side tournament on that date to raise money for a football tour and have already sent for tickets.
