Fulham - Lovenkrands Alert #23

It was probably two weeks ago that we first mentioned the link between a certain Peter Lovenkrands and Fulham had resurfaced.

Rumours had been rife, back in the summer, that Roy Hodgson viewed the speedy forward as suitable Fulham material.

With the January transfer window open it was perhaps inevitable that the rumour would resurface.

Well, we here at Vital Fulham are expecting the rumours to intensify now that it is being reported that his club, Schalke, have terminated his contract and he is a free agent.

Mind you, with no transfer fee to pay, only a salary, his potential signing could be viewed as a prudent one.

This could turn out to be a very good signing. A nice bit of pace, and at no cost. Perfect.

For free as well, why not just go for it, we need some extra cover for upfront and heard that he can play left wing.
Wimbledon_White
Yeah exactly, he can play on the wing aswell. He's versatile, and i think a pacy winger is a neccesity these days, so he'd be perfect!
KBCC
if he is free then let's go for it! One year deal and see what he can do!
Al Billy
his lightning pace would be a great option away from home for a counter attack.
Putney
if he is fast and free lets get him, if roy was interested in him before when there was a fee must be a bargain
dan the man
had a bid turned down for him in the summer
oranje_emu
A free agent of his calibre is always worth a second look.
