Fulham - Kamara Out for the Season?

Sad news has filtered through that we`re unlikely to see Diomansy 'Joe` Kamara in competitive action, at all, for Fulham this season.

Kamara, who recently had a second operation on his injured knee, is now unlikely to even start training until January with Roy Hodgson quoted in the News of the World as saying

We don`t pin our hopes on him as it was a very serious injury. The earliest he could train is February.

Disappointing news all around but we`re sure Diomansy will come back as strong as ever for the 2009-2010 season.

sad news considering how much of a dangerous player he looked at Man City away last season when the great escape started!

thats bad news i would of liked to see him play alongside z man and aj what a great frontline that would be
dan the man
I agree, however Roy has got such a good team together now, it would be hard to drop players. Lets get him fully fit and then exposing him to the world

amazing how its forgotten he was very poor for most of last season. Would have provided a different dimension to our team tho.

He was awful for vast periods of time last year. He actually woke up and started performing like someone who might possibly have been worth the crazy money that S*****z paid for him towards the end of the season. Obviously his performance against Man City stands out. I was looking forward to seeing how Kamara would settle in his second season, its a real shame this has happened.
