Fulham - Omozusi Staying a Canary!

Our colleagues over at Vital Norwich are reporting that our young defender, Elliot Omozusi, has extended his loan period with the Canaries until the end of the season.

Strangely enough it transpires that Elliot did actually sign for the season long period back in the summer but, apparently, there was a small claiuse whereby Fulham could have recalled him. This has now been revoked and Elliot will spend the remainder of the season up in Norfolk where Norwich are involved in a fight for Championship survival.

Speaking about the extension / revoking of the clause, Elliot told the Norwich official web site,

"It's good to get things sorted out once and for all."

"I had a talk with Roy Hodgson at Fulham and he wished me the best for the season ahead and I'll go back there in the pre-season and start afresh."

"Roy sent me here to play as many games as possible and gain the experience he couldn't promise me at Fulham. He told me to keep battling on and hopefully come back a better player for it. The boys at Fulham have done a tremendous job so far this season and I'd love to go back and be a part of their success."

We await your return with interest young man to see how much you`ve developed.

he'll come back mentally scarred after playing for that lot!
Al Billy
He'd have been even more scarred if Stefanovic was still playing in their back four.
Putney
good that he's getting some serious match practice though. He'll come back as a good squad player
