Fulham - More Bullard Angst!

The Jimmy Bullard situation continues to rumble on.

After various stories emerged suggesting, firstly, no contract talks would be held, secondly, Jimmy had priced himself out of a new deal and thirdly, Jimmy was willing to accept a pay cut, something new has hit the news stands.

Now we learn that, according to the Daily Express, Fulham are willing to give Bullard a new contract but are not willing to meet his wage demands but will give him an improved deal.

Is this the solution?

Somehow we think not and that this one will rumble on and on!

The Express is a weird one. They hate Al Fayed, but give us better coverage than most other news papers and crazily enough they are often right too. I might switch off on the bullard situation until something concreate is announced. I reckon Jimmy should just sign it, stay and ask for silly money to get us into Europe via the League or FA Cup...then get on the pitch and win his bonus.

I'm convinced Bullard is off - Spurs!

I don't think Bullard will leave. I have a funny feeling he's become quite attached to the squad and the fans. It proves that he's feeling different as he's said he's willing to take a cut. He wants to stay, we just have to pay up now

i'd love him to stay, but i'd love more for a resolution to the whole mess...

this will run on to the end of the month I reckon!

Well it'll just keep going until something is sorted out. I think the most important thing will be to get him sat down and signing a contract (which could be happening right now while he's ill) rather than chuck a quick contract in front of him when the other clubs come calling

the club is more than just one man , if he wants to leave and fulham get agood price let him go, he does blow hot and cold for us and takes players out of position i think fulham would be more balanced if he did leave ,the player we cant lose is hagaland that would be suicidal

agree with thames bank tottally, we may even be a better balanced side with out him , dont get me wrong i think he is a good player, but can up set the balance of the team with the way he roams over the pitch
