Fulham in Weak Garcia Link?

With the opening of the transfer window now just hours away, the media are going into overdrive already.

Stories are appearing with the weakest possible link to our club but, nevertheless, some of these are interesting snippets that may provide adequate discussion points.

One such story surrounds the ex-Liverpool player, Luis Garcia.

Garcia left Liverpool to join Atletico Madrid for a fee of £4 million but, according to several sources, has fallen out of favour and is seeking a move back to the Premier League.

Prime candidates for purchasing the player are Blackburn Rovers and Tottenham Hotspur, however, if you follow the article down to the small print, nestling right at the foot is the suggestion that Fulham may show an interest.

Why! I`ve yet to fathom out!

Luis Garcia is a very good little player. He was (and still is) adored at Anfield and it wasn't just cos of THAT goal. If you lot get him, he will be a superb signing for you.
Aamir
so why did you sell him then I have to ask!
Al Billy
have we had any Spaniards at the Cottage? I'm struggling to think of any!
Putney
Would be great to get another good midfielder on the park. Especially a good goalscorer such as himself
jackbarendse
Al Billy, he was homesick and needed a return to Spain.
Aamir
so why head back now then - has he found a cure for this homesickness?
Al Billy
lol - one thing cures all - CASH!
Putney
Maybe he just needed a spell in Spain? Homesickness doesn't necessarily last a lifetime.
Aamir
Hopefully this rumour turns out to be a truth
