Fulham - Roy to Raid Belgium?

With a degree of uncertainty surrounding the Fulham future of Brede Hangeland, it`s being widely suggested by several media sources that Roy Hodgson has already lined up a replacement.

Roy, if the rumours are correct, has been looking at the Standard Liege central defender Oguchi Onyewu.

For some, the name may have a degree of familiarity about it as Onyewu has already sampled life in the Premier League during a short stint with Newcastle.

A fee of £3.5 million is being mentioned but it would appear that the player has also attracted interest from Marseilles, Borussia Monchengladbach and Paris St Germain for his signature.

We`ll keep you posted on this one!

If he's got Premier League experience - he's half way there! Mind you must have seen some serious action up at Newcaslte, they're bad man!

even when our Kev was in charge (twice) they were dodgy in defence!

Oguchi is another American. Fulham was running low - must be time to stock up again.

Standard Leige... Isnt that the club which has Witsel and (had) Fiellini>?

not sure we should sign him... last time we missed out to newcastle, and he looked bad there, but who wouldn't... i don't think he's been playing his best football recently, but maybe a return to belgium has served him well... i'll trust in roy, but for me, stay away. (and all this from an american)
