Fulham - Dempsey`s First Brace?

It`s a fact I wasn`t aware of!

The brace scored by Clint Dempsey, against Chelsea on Sunday, was the first time the popular American had scored two goals in a Premier League game.

The American, in a post match interview with goal.com, also rated the experience as being among the best of his career, remarking,

"It`s obviously a high point to be able to score against one of the best teams in the world."

"It`s the first time I`ve scored twice in a Premiership game. It rates up there near the very top (of my career). I mean, nothing is better than scoring in the World Cup [which Dempsey accomplished in 2006], but it has to be up there because you don`t play against the best in the world, or play against the best competition, all the time.'

Careful Clint, that lot down the road are not as good as they think they are right now!
