French Striker Cottage Bound?

French Striker Cottage Bound?

Several media vehicles are suggesting that Roy Hodgson is tracking another striker, a striker that could see a further £6 million emptied from the Fulham coffers.

The player in question is Kevin Gameiro, a striker who is currently playing in France with FC Lorient.

Gameiro, at a mere twenty-one years of age, has made eighteen appearances for FC Lorient this season scoring six times, previously, for the period 2004-2008, he played for Strasbourg where he made fifty-eight appearances scoring ten goals.

He`s an U20 French international who has attracted the eye of Roy Hodgson despite only being five feet seven and a half inches tall.

Whether any other clubs are watching him remains to be seen and we`ll try and keep you abreast of any further developments.
