Fulham - A Defensive Master Class?

Fulham - A Defensive Master Class?

Memories of last year and a 5-1 thrashing at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur were vanquished this afternoon when our plucky side held out for a 0-0 draw.

It was our fourth 0-0 draw in a row, following on from plucky displays against Liverpool, Aston Villa and Stoke.

It`s all afar cry from last season whereby our inability to keep a clean sheet, especially in the early months, doomed us to a long, hard struggle against relegation.

Thankfully, Roy Hodgson has turned matters around and the defence, superbly marshalled by Aaron Hughes, did us proud, making Roy comment,

'The players are working very hard in their defensive duties."

As they say, keep it tight at the back and the rest will fall into place.

Would be very interested to see if it was Huges that was out rather than Brede. Have a feeling Hughes is the key.
